Is there a subscription?
No subscription. Photo storage and the gallery are included with the map. There are no monthly fees and no app. Photos stay for as long as we operate, with photo export.
FAQ
Does it need an app?
No. Hold a phone to a Smart Pin, or scan the QR sticker. The gallery opens in the browser. Photos can come from this phone, including iCloud on iPhone and Android, or from Google Photos. There is nothing to install.
How many photos per pin?
Each pin holds 25 photos. A clip can be 60 seconds, and the pin keeps 120 seconds of video altogether.
What if I move a pin?
The photos stay with the pin. The NFC tag and the QR sticker move with it, and the next tap opens the same gallery. The place name is chosen the first time that pin is claimed.
Can I add pins later?
Yes. One Smart Pin, or a pack of five or ten, can be added to a map you already have. Empty pins on the sheet are there for the next place.
Is it private?
A gallery stays private unless the owner turns sharing on. A shared address is a long random token, separate from the short code on the pin. We strip location and camera metadata before a photo or clip is stored. Photos stay for as long as we operate, with photo export. Download all my photos is on your maps page.
How does shipping work?
The printed map ships to the address given at checkout. A digital gift does not ship until the recipient creates a free account and enters an address. Gift codes never expire, carry no fees, and have no cash value.
